Laura Ast is a wife, mother, grandmother, collector of wayward animals and a yarn junky. She and her husband, Tim, moved from the Mojave desert to Elk, Washington for a slower way of life and seasons other than brown. Little did they know, it would be Life in a Snow Globe. Laura has had animals around her for her entire life. She believes that you need to have two animals to keep each other company.
